Rides

I just like going out for rides in daddy's car! I used to hate it, probably because I wasn't used to being in something that moved. His old vehicle wasn't that quiet, too. But now, I like riding in the car because I get to see so many new things! Daddy's current car is also much quieter than the former one he had. There is an added bonus: the air conditioner in daddy's car is sooooo cold. Perfect for me!

My First Greeting Card

I thought today was going to be just like any other day... Snooze a bit. Eat once in a while. Bark at the mailman... Wait! Did I hear my name being called? The mailman actually has something for ME?!!!

Turned out that he did. Yay!!!! This is my first greeting card ever! Thank you very much, Sushi!

I gotta find a place to keep this. I can't bury it in the yard because I don't have one. I think I'll just bury it among Daddy's stuff.... Same thing. Hahaha!!!

Dinner

We have a wabbit, I mean, rabbit. His name is Dinner. No kidding! That's really his name!

Today, they let him out. I guess he needs a little bit of sunshine once in a while.

Please help Bhuto

yesterday, someone told daddy about a dog who badly needed help. daddy went out and saw him resting under a neighbor's van. the dog was so badly hurt that it could not even stand on its hind legs. according to daddy, a car must have run over both hind legs of the poor dog. daddy said that had they told him about it earlier, he would have called CARA earlier.

daddy immediately called on CARA Welfare Philippines (http://www.caraphil.org/),  a group that rescues injured pets and nurses them back to health. they sent a volunteer who carefully took the dog from under the can and brought him (yes, he was a male dog) to an animal shelter in a nearby city. daddy said that a doctor was waiting for him there and that he will be well-cared for. daddy said that had they told him about the dog earlier, he would have called CARA sooner.

since the dog did not have a name, the ones who rescued him called him "Bhuto". Bhuto needs your help. please visit this FB page to see how you can help him. Thank you.

Give the Dog a Bone....

I got a special treat tonight.  After my main meal, Ate Els gave me a surprise: a big bone!

Thank you! This is sooooo yummy!!!!

Hmmmm.... how do i fit this in my mouth?

No matter how hard I try to nibble at it....

...bite it...

or lick it.... it won't fit. It's still too big!

Sushi Sent Me An Award!!! Yay!!!!

Wow! This is my first award! Thank you very much, Sushi!

Now, let's see....what do I have to do.... I'm really so new at this. So, here goes:

1. Cookies or Cake?
ummm... not too fond of cookies or cake. How about fish or beef?

2. Chocolate or Vanilla?
I think dogs are not allowed to eat chocolates. I'd like to try vanilla ice cream though.

3. When do you crave sweets?
Sweets? not really.

4. Do you have a sweet nickname?
My real name is Yeyo. Daddy calls me "Muttsy". Mommy and Ate Sharee call me "Baby". Do those count?

And...

Now I have to tell you 7 things about myself. So here goes...

1. I like getting scratched all over...especially behind the ears... and behind my neck....and on my tummy.... and on my back.... and my snout..... you get what i mean.
2. I used to eat canned dog food, but i became allergic to it. So, now, i eat only all natural food.
3. I like sleeping on Ate Sharee's bed.
4. I like to mark my territory. They say that I am an alpha male.
5. I have my own electric fan. Really!
6. I hate deodorants. The smell is too strong for me.
7. I fart a lot, too.... and mommy hates it when she's downstream. Hehehe

Ok..... who'd like to be next in line for this award?

Bonding Day - Part 2

Ok, time to continue my post about our bonding time last week. The place we went to was called the University of the Philippines. For some reason, on that day, there weren't too many vehicles on the road. We were actually walking in the middle of the road, and all we can see are people running (or doing what they call "jogging").

Another drink....

Resting on the bench....

Hey... what's that I see over there?

Another mutt!

Wait a minute... gotta mark this area....

Riding in the car wasn't that bad after all.

When we got home, I was sooo tired, I fell asleep immediately.

Hot Weather, Cold Bath

Last night Ate Jo, one of our helpers at home, gave me a bath. She must have noticed that I felt so uncomfortable in this heat. The bath felt sooooo good, I fell asleep immediately on Mommy's bed. She even gave me my favorite pillow. I slept soundly in front of their fan.

Bonding Day - Part 1

Today, Daddy decided to take me out for some bonding time.

It was so comfortable in Daddy's car, I fell asleep in Mommy's arms!

That's me in Daddy's seat. No, I can't drive.... My legs can't reach the pedals. Hahaha!

They brought me to a place they call University of the Philippines. The place was so huge! Wait! Since this is all new to me, I have to mark my territory.

One spot down....

Another one...

How big is this place? It's unbelievable! It's the first time i saw something this big! My bladder is already empty and I still see a lot of places I should mark as my own!

I did something here...Don't ask. Hahaha!

That's big brother taking me on a tour.

Is this where humans go to see their vet?

Time to rest with Mommy, big bro and big sis.

That walk made me sooooo thirsty!

This is just the first part of my day out. I have to rest a bit first. I will tell you more next time.

A New Old Treat

Tonight Daddy called me because he wanted me to try something. I really didn't feel like eating, but big sister prodded me and I went to Daddy.

What is that? Looks like black jelly with a dark greenish looking paste on it. I turned my head away, but Daddy rubbed it on my mouth...No!!!!! Wait.... Wait a minute.... That was good!!!!

I was told that it was a delicacy called century egg. They say that they let the egg age. That is why it looks like that. I ate old egg!!!

It may not look pretty, but I like it!!!

I didn't give Miming any. Hehehehe! That is what she gets for swiping my food a while back.
